This was a disappointing stay. The posted description of the b&b was not even close. The host seemed almost annoyed by us. The "homemade"bake goods and breakfast was a slight Continental breakfast on a small corner corner shelf. Very deceptive description, would not recommend.

While our room and ensuite bathroom were clean, comfortable and fairly spacious, the B&B did not follow the description on B&B Ireland as far as home baked treats or breakfast. We had a 3-night stay. We did not see the hostess after check-in (which was signposted as 5 p.m. on the door). We did receive the cooked portion of a full Irish breakfast in our room (brought by the male of the household) but coffee was instant and bread was store-bought slices placed in plastic wrap in a refrigerator in our room to toast ourselves. My husband did enjoy the smoked salmon provided in the 'fridge. All in all, it was a rather sterile atmosphere and wasn't the warm and friendly experience of the other 3 B&Bs we booked for this trip. No interaction with other guests and very minimal with the host couple.

The rooms were very clean and were a nice size. The location is very remote. The breakfast was not what we expected. Typically we experience a cooked breakfast in a dining room. This location placed a continental breakfast outside our room at 8 AM. Cold cereal, juice, milk, cheese selections, fruit and bread were offered. The breakfast was not bad, it was just not what we typically see and this was not offered in their description when the property was booked.

08/2021, Reception rather cold. Being French, even vaccinated, certainly did not help contact with our host. We felt like we were plague victims. The rooms were fine, but the in-room breakfast with powdered coffee was not the most pleasant.
I don't think this lady should have re-opened her establishment this year. In fact, being welcomed in such conditions is not really in the spirit of the B&B.

given the current covid restrictions, our breakfast was served to us at the bedroom door, plenty of selection of fruit yogurt and excellent fry. milk and orange juice served in flasks to keep cool.
bedroom and bathroom clean tidy and modern. tv and remote excellent. Parking for several cars right to the front door.
very friendly and at any other time nothing i feel would be too much trouble.
