Bridgeview Farmhouse

An amazing place with incredible views (including from the rooms). This is a good location for places like Kinsale, and also for following along the coast. Marion was wonderful - her homemade scones are amazing and her breakfasts were more than I could imagine. She was also helpful in giving suggestions and calling in reservations to the excellent nearby restaurant.

It's such a delightful place. The view is exceptional (both from the property and from the bedroom). This is a convenient location either to go toward Kinsale, or, as I did, to follow along the coast for some gorgeous views. Marion was incredibly helpful in so many ways, including making a reservation for a great restaurant nearby when I arrived, along with serving me some of her amazing homemade scones in the beautiful sitting room. Breakfast was delicious.

My teenagers and I stayed for 2 nights and loved Bridgeview Farmhouse! Marion made us feel very welcome and made wonderful breakfasts. The views are just magical - my room looked out on the cattle grazing, and in the morning hundreds of swallows flew around the fields - so fun to watch! The location is very quiet and peaceful. A teakettle and mini fridge are always available in the sitting room, internet was good, beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and property, amazing views, and the most accommodating, caring hostess: Marion. Thank you, Marion! She made us very comfortable. There were multiple sitting areas and we enjoyed them all: the small area for two with the beautiful view is where we had some wine and snacks, another room where we had tea and which very conveniently contained a mini fridge we were permitted to use for some items that needed it, and a living space too where we were able to log into our Prime account and watch a movie while playing cards. We were welcomed with tea and scones, and had a delicious breakfast waiting for us, even though we let Marion know we would likely sleep in and not be there for the normal breakfast window; she was happy to accommodate us and make sure we ate! We loved her! No TV in room or ice available, but Marion's clear knack for hostessing up for it, we felt.

My brother and I loved our 2 night stay with Marion.. Marion was the best host! The room was clean and beds comfortable. Her breakfast was the best and her scones were to die for delicious! The location is perfect with amazing views. An added bonus were her cattle - it was such a pleasure to wake up and see the cattle grazing.
